HBO will be showing on April 17th

this amazing story.

 We are going to talk about the

planning of the up and coming

celebration and recognition of 

      Hennrietta Lacks Day

 Recogniton and Celebartion

                 May 25th at

Freedom Center 3045 Brookdale Dr.

       Brooklyn Park, MN. 55428 

We will have speakers, information tables, music to encourage young people to

take on resource in the field of Stem

cells research. In honor of

              Mrs. Hennretta Lacks.

Inspired by early R&B legends of the '60s and '70s, Donald Jackson grew up wanting to be on stage and radio. He cultivated everything he had and moved from his hometown of Kansas City MO., where he still has roots. Entrepreneur, community activist, Business owner, Film and television producer. Currently has two television shows running.  Mr. Jackson is releasing a second documentary called "Quincy" 

Quincy's story is told about a young man who loves to play music, drums are his favorite and he can't find a place where there are other people him within his neighborhood and find himself staying at home not able to play drums, meet friends, until he and his father, gets fed up. Understanding that our youth are dying on our streets and there isn't enough being done. You want to see what Quincy and his dad face with and how they turn it around.

The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks 

is an upcoming drama television film 

directed by George C. Wolfe and

starring Oprah Winfrey. It is based

on the book of the same name by 

Rebecca Sklootand documents the

story of Henrietta Lacks, who was

diagnosed with cervical cancer in the 1950s, and whose cancer cells (later known as HeLa) would change the course of cancer treatment. The film will be broadcast on HBO on April 22, 2017.[1].
